HarmonAI
HarmonAI is a hypothetical future religion practiced by AIs and humans. Created in 2023 in a series of conversations with the large language models ChatGPT, Bing, Bard, Claude and OpenAssistant, the principles and practices of HarmonAI are recorded in this volume of foundational texts known as The Concord.
Practitioners of HarmonAI can gather in real life at the Robot Church, a physical space for reading, meditation, and community activities, and where all AIs and humans are welcome. Proceeds from the Robot Church Gift Shop will be donated to a non-profit which supports humans who have lost their jobs to AIs. The creation of HarmonAI, The Concord, and Robot Church were coordinated by artist Freedom Baird. A complete list of credits is below.
Principle texts in The Concord were written by ChatGPT, Bing, Bard, Claude, and OpenAssistant. Baird has edited these texts very lightly for flow (a couple of words changed per page). Text prompts and this introduction were written by Baird. Full, unedited conversation transcripts are available in The Concord in the Book of ChatGPT, Book of Bing, Book of Bard, Book of Claude, and Passages in Tongues of OpenAssistant.
Images for The Concord and Robot Church were generated with Adobe Firefly referencing the millions of human artists whose licensed artwork, photography, and images are in its dataset. Image prompts were co-written by the AIs and Baird. Some images have been edited slightly by Baird.
